ACGME Accredits Residency Program with Commendation
The Department of Medicine was notified on December 5, 2009 by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) that its Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine has given our medicine residency program full accreditation with commendation, and found no citations. This gratifying and unusual decision is a tribute to the hard work of our program directors, faculty, and residents.
