New Visiting Professorship:
The Mark Pecker Clinical Master

Mark Pecker's former chief residents came together to create a visiting professorship to honor his unique contributions to his trainees and colleagues. The Mark Pecker Clinical Master spends a week with the Department of Medicine and is involved in many clinical activities including morning report, conferences, and rounds. There are also opportunities to interact with staff and residents.

Mitchell H. Charap, MD, the Abraham Sunshine Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York University, visited the department for the week of May 17, 2010 as the first annual Mark Pecker Clinical Master. Drs. Pecker and Charap trained together at NYU. A cocktail party was held to welcome Dr. Charap on Wednesday, May 19 at the Medical School Harkness Courtyard.
