A long-term Safety Study of Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (Btk) Inhibitor PCI-32765 in B Cell Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Study Status

Open to Enrollment

Study Description

This study is open to patients from previous PCI-32765 studies who meet eligibility criteria.

The purpose of this study is to determine the long-term safety and efficacy of a fixed-dose, daily regimen of PCI-32765 in patients with B-cell lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).

PCI-32765 is a type of drug called a "kinase inhibitor." Kinases are proteins inside cells that help cells live and grow. The specific kinase blocked by PCI-32765 is believed to help blood cancer cells grow. By inhibiting the activity of this specific kinase, it is possible that PCI-32765 may kill the cancer cells or stop them from growing.
