A Phase 1 Dose-Escalation and Pharmacokinetic Study of TG02 Citrate in Patients With Advanced Hematological Malignancies
Study Status
Open to Enrollment
Study Description
TG02 citrate (study drug) is an investigational drug being tested and is not approved for sale in the US by the FDA. The purpose of this research study is to find out what effects (good and bad) TG02 citrate has on you and your cancer (relapsed acute leukemia, high risk myelodysplasia, relapsed chronic myelogenous leukemia in blast crisis, or relapsed multiple myeloma). The study doctor will give TG02 citrate to people in this study to find the highest dose of TG02 citrate that people can tolerate. Another purpose of this study is to find out if TG02 citrate is safe, tolerable and effective for people with the above conditions.
TG02 has shown anti-tumor activity in laboratory tests and animal studies. The way that TG02 citrate causes anti-tumor activity is not fully known, but researchers believe that TG02 citrate may affect tumors by slowing or stopping the growth of tumor cells in the body.
