Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates

Welcome to WCIMA! We are the academic general internal medicine practice of Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York Presbytarian Hospital. WCIMA provides high quality and comprehensive primary care for a diverse group of adult patients representing a cross section of the ethnic, cultural, and economic diversity that is New York City. Our services include preventive health care, treatment of acute and chronic illness and the coordination of care for those with complex diseases. Patients at WCIMA are cared for by a team of providers to maximize expertise in various aspects of health care.

Providers at WCIMA are comprised of faculty attendings, nurse practitioners and resident physicians. Patients have equal access to all types of providers at WCIMA, regardless of insurance type. WCIMA accepts most insurances including commercial, managed care, Medicare and Medicaid. As an academic practice, WCIMA is committed to the advancement of patient care and the training of doctors. We serve as the primary site for general medicine ambulatory education for the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program and are actively involved in all aspects of undergraduate medical student education.
